Pookie is a pretty black and white kitty, born on March 26, 2016. Her black facial markings give her a whimsical, clown-like appearance. She is quite shy, but has gotten friendlier during the time she's been at Cinderella. Now she will allow you to pet her and pick her up.
She likes people and wants to be friends, sometimes mewing plaintively until a volunteer picks her up and pets her. But, at other times, she runs away. She's never aggressive.
The other cats in the cat room tend to pick on her, and terrorize her, causing her to flee up to the high cat walks for security. This has caused her to be more fearful and skittish. It will take a special person, patient and understanding, to help sweet little Pookie learn to love and be loved.
We’re hoping she can find her forever home very soon, possibly with room for her beautiful black brother, Spooky. They like to play or just hang out together.
A special, reduced adoption fee applies for both of them if they are adopted together.
