Lazarus
Born in February, 2010, Lazarus, also known as Laz, was so-named due to his return to a full and happy life in spite of a close brush with death. When he came to Cinderella, he had a leg which had been deformed due to his having been hit by a car. His leg had already healed but was withered and almost useless. On the advice of a vet, his leg was amputated at the shoulder. Now, Laz loves to play and he leaps and runs almost as well as a cat with four legs. He's solidly built and quite muscular.
Laz is currently in foster care in a home where he has daily interactions with other cats and dogs. He gets along well with most. He especially likes kittens and loves it when they curl up with him to sleep. He likes people and is quite friendly. He enjoys sitting on your lap or giving you a single-armed hug.
Sometimes, Laz has a tendency to nip if he feels crowded or pushed to do something that he doesn’t want to do. So, his ideal home would be one without small or extremely active children. He has lots of personality and would be a super companion to a single person or for a couple.
